restringing a v

How do you restring and tune down a guitar with a v-shaped tailpiece?

(like the one in my signature)

uhhhh? The same way with a strat, I believe. I dunno, I havent actually ever re strung my v, which is terrible since i've had it now for about 5 months.

just like any other fixed-bridge guitar I'd say (I havent owned or restrung a guitar with V-tailpiece, but I dont see what great difference there should be)

What kind of fucken queston is this...?

Take off the strings.. Push the through the tailpiece... get you new strings out... push them through the tailpiece... wind them around your pegs.. get out your tuner.. tune the strings...

I would hate to see you with a floyd rose man...

if you are going to tune down your guitar...get some thicker strings, and u need to raise the action a little bit...
maybe adjusting the truss rod if the tension gets higher.

You know guys, I'm from ultimate-guitar.com, I come here 'cuz i was fucking tired of that board. If someone startin' out on guitar makes a mistake, or asks a simple question, they get flammed like theres no tommorow.

I mean, take this for example

No, Hardtail bridges are the easist. It will be no problem.

I may be wrong, but it looks like the Dean Flying Vs on the website (and including that one) are strung through the body. If that's the case, you should have no trouble changing the strings.
