I'm coming from New York for my first Prog Power and I'm wondering what the restroom situation is like at the venue. Seems like every music venue I end up standing in line for 20 minutes waiting. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just don't mistake the autograph line for the bathroom line and you'll be fine. Seriously, its right there by the men's.

They move fairly quickly from what I've seen. There are two sets of bathrooms - one in the main venue and one in "Vinyl" (where the merchandise tables are).

Are they single person bathrooms or do they allow for a few people at once?

Multiple people - the men's room in the lobby has five urinals (I think, call it 5 +/- 1) and two or three stalls. The secondary men's room back in Vinyl is smaller, I think it has one or two urinals and one stall.

Even in previous years when it's been sold out, there haven't been any major problems with restrooms (well, at least not the men's room, heh). The men's room usually only overflows right after a band finishes their set and people are leaving the auditorium. A good percentage of attendees stay in hotels very close to the venue and tend to go back and forth between the hotels and the venue a lot, so I imagine this makes for less demand for the venue restrooms.

I would also reiterate RagePSV's advice to not mistake the autograph-signing line for a restroom line. More than once, I've seen first-timers standing in that line thinking it's for the restroom. :)

bathroom lines suck..could always lead to a shitty situation.

Thanks. I was more concerned about the women's though :)

If memory serves me correctly, the main women's restrooms within the venue (behind the middle of the stage area) is a walk-in and wait standard restroom with 5 or 6 individual stalls. As for the other restroom within the smaller bar named "Vinyl" (near the front main entrance to the venue - on your left), there are only 2 individual stalls - a handicap one and a standard one. In urgent situations, if you find the line at the main restrooms to be too long, I suggest trying the restrooms within Vinyl, as they may be less busy and "well-known". As the previous poster mentioned, Vinyl is where all vendors set up and sell their merchandise. There's also a smaller bar, and not everyone goes in there.

I hope this helps.

the lines are not OUTRAGEOUS for the ladies, but they are there between sets.
this is one of the few venues i've been to where the facilities are fully functional :)
