Revalver III Demo out today!!!

Played with it a little. It's fine, good for a modeler, but doesn't seem a lot better than mkII. I certainly won't be selling my amps or anything.

Here's a quick clip of the 6505 (2 tracks) + jsx (2 tracks) using a part of Machinated DI's from his mixcontest:

Chain: TSS=>6505/jsx =>signal split => GH Fredman straight => GH Fredman Angled

bass is ampegsvx
drums are ezdrummer w/ samples

I think those models sound very realistic..sounds like it responds like a tube amp. I realize in part the eq'ing and final mixing of the recording can greatly enhance the tracks, but really, these sound like they have some life to 'em far more than some Line6 modelers.

hello everybody.. first post here :) i tried revalver's demo today, and at first i was disappointed too. i dont know if you guys have tried that, but i read somewhere that the amps have a signal input/output thing in their tweak window.. there you can adjust the input voltage, and if you turn it up a bit, it really starts to feel much more real. for example i use emg81 s and i ve read somewhere that its rms output is 1.25 db and peak is 3.55 db, so i adjusted input voltage thing to near 2.4 in amp in revalver, and it gave much greater result! just my .02.

ive been tweaking for a couple days now....

The 6505 amps just dont seem that good to me yet, might need to tweak more. But the JSX is looking pretty sweet. I have to do alot of internal tweaks to make it sound real good.:Smug: More so than I did in MK2.

unfortunately, the greener is still horrible just like MK2....I think they didn't even update that or most the other fx's! I'll stick to my Maxon.

But, yeah when I get something great, I'll post a clip.
