Yep, from all the clips I've heard it's been unimpressive. We've already got software amp modellers that can do adequate demo quality stuff. What we need now is one to break through into the pro audio area and actually give us release quality tones. Until they do, it's basically the same crap being rehashed. Also, from everything I've heard, Splat88's Gearbox tone is still the holy grail of amp sim sounds IMO.

Not at all, I just think he's blowing it out of proportion - whatever he heard. I helped beta RVMKIII, and I see no new info on the beta forums. So he's either talking shit, or he has a personal relationship with Michael the creator (of all things!!) and thus by posting here what he posted.. he's sort of shitting on that relationship.
