My question is if they have ideas for the next version before the previous is not even released yet or so soon after it has (not sure if it has been actually)
why not just take the time it took to make both and make one killer version?

1st of all, i'm pretty sure that III is available as a download, just not in a box yet. also, there's always a lag time between when a product is developed and when it's actually distributed, and the developers would be smart to use that in-between time to begin the production of the next version.

man, i didn't even realize that the clips that have been posted came from the demo...
FWIW, how long does the demo last for? i just downloaded it, but am wary of installing it until i really have some time to mess around with it.

the demo lasts forever. You just can't save presets(you can however save module presets) and it makes a noise every now and then.

Oh, and I like this forum, and I'm really grateful for everyone contributing to the post-metal/sludge amplifer thread. I also really like Revalver. I'm not being a dick, I just think my humour doesn't translate into text that well - sorta like when you read Bill Hick's transcripts, and you KNOW he's funny when you watch him, but when you read it, you merely chuckle... or at least I do anyway.

Although I still take the info with a pinch of salt - I've been told by the creator that nothing is set in stone. So RVMKIV could work totally different from what's being discussed in this thread. Wouldn't want anyone getting their hopes up.
