you will always get some lag but that will help. and make sure your buffer rate is as low as it can go without crackling

Valhalla Room or Vintage Verb are a steal at $50 each.

ReaVerb has a zero latency option. FYI

If on Windows then Bootsy's Epic Verb is a nice free one.

+5 for ValhallaDSP verbs. The Vintage Verb has become my favourite for pretty much everything over the past year. Sounds great, is versatile and works without a hiccup during tracking. I'm on an i5 processor with 4gb RAM, in case you wonder.
