Review of the new album(WCFYA)

Sorry about my outbreak. I can't wait to hear the new shit cranked up in my stereo for my virgin ears. I realized 5 years ago when Volume 8 came out. I downloaded like 2 or 3 songs and listened to them on a pair of 2 watt speakers. It just didn't do the songs justice to hear them for the first time on shit computer speakers. I'm gonna wait until the 15th of April to experience it for the first time cranked up the way it should be debuted to me.

i've heard the song off n.blast & a couple that buddy love bomb played 4 me over my crappy comp. speakers.i cant find it anywhere on the net 2 check out more.i ordered it from hmv.com & its 2 be shipped out feb.4th so i will be able 2 hear the whole thing within 3 weeks.

It's your opinion and I respect it... My opinion is that you're probably masturbating yourself to Gamma Ray or any other Helloween clone-metal band that's populating the Europe right now and that you wouldn't know a good metal album if it bit you in the ass therefore, your opinion shouldn't be taken in consideration... but this is just my opinion.

Peace!

Oh, that's right!! Anthrax is dead!! Thanks for pointing that out, man!
Okay, everyone. Time to leave the message board!! Nothing to see here!
Let's go ahead and shut this site down.

Thanks a lot SergeantCockgrabber! I don't know why I come to this message board...I guess I keep forgetting that Anthrax is dead.

Now time to move on.:waah:

what can i say, this album rocks so hard!!!
in no certain order
intro-nice acoustics with a little crunch to get our attention

what doesnt die-to sum this onepummeling is one word that
comes to mind, doesnt let up from start to finish and has an absolute shredder of a solo

safe home-best way to describe this would be catharsis but just 10 times better with a little acdc touch in there.

think about an end-another solid rocker

superhero-i dont have to say to much u heard the intro which pretty much sums the overall song, got some great charlie magic and a bit of the old crunch crunch crunch, comparable to inside out.

taking the music back-my least fave song, but if they were trying to do an arena rock they achieved it well.

we've come for you all-great anthem, twisted sister could have wrote that song hehe

anyplace but here-what can i say, cool acoustic intro, charlie drumming grabs u on this one, another tune that dont let u go from start to finish

strap it on-one of my faves at the moment, standard crunch from scott to start off, dime is in prime from

cadillac rock box-sounds liek dime talking at the start not 100% sure, bit of a bluesy riff, another cool solo from dime, cool rock song.

nobody knows anything-hasnt grown on me yet, charlie is pretty busy in this tune.

black dahlia-most extreme song they have ever written, parts of this song remind me of morbid angel, charlie is killing the double bass(strange ha lol)

i didnt mentionjohn'svocals in each song because this is the best he has sounded period!!!

overall alot of cool hamonies in the songs, rob is def the one for the job,yet to see credits for who's done what, also the best sounding anthrax record.

best way to some up all these songs would be to call them anthems.

to put a comparison as to what this new one reminds me of would be to say they have taken the best parts of stomp and volume 8 and thrown it in the mixer and this was the result,a very happy anthrax fan in this neck of the woods.

now let them take over the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hope i didnt miss any songs

Hmm... I finally heard it! So far I would say that John has never sung so perfect. Second thing, it's really very "anthem" album. Very hard-rock, very catchy.
So, let's talk about the songs...
Intro, well...intro.
What Doesn't Die - fast and aggressive, typical Anthrax note. with pretty much modern guitar sound. I didn't expect this would be an opening tune, but it is.
Superhero - one of my favorites and very different from the live bootleg. Spooky, killer atmosphere. Charlie drum 5 note fills are crazy.
Refuse To Be Denied - actually I wasn't really astonished when I heard it for the 1st time but it works perfectly on the record. Somehow it appears to me like some Ozzy song.
Safe Home - I have written it before. Great guitar riff, great harmonies and great solo. Not really typical Anthrax, but something today kids would love.
Any Place But Here - great one! Very catchy, John's vocal is amazing. My most fave probably. Besides AC/DC in the chorus, I think of James Hetfield (and Metallica) when I listen to this one.
Nobody Knows Anything - still haven't grown on me, it's a song based on drum beats. Basically everything else serves the drums.
Strap It On - hard rock song with pretty good chorus. I also hear old Alice In Chains in it (Facelift era and before)
Black Dahlia - maybe my least fave. I hated the black metal riff when I heard it for the first time, it's growing on me. I don't have anything against black metal, I just find the fast riff quite silly. But it's really fast!
Cadillac Rock Box - very kicking ass southern rock riff!
Taking The Music Back - standing out on the promo (for me), but in the context of the record it's...just one song from the record. Hard rock song.
Crash - My ole Prague buddy Jackfromczech got me an idea it's maybe about 9/11?
Think About An End - classic Bush-era Anthrax. RATM and Mighty Maiden in one.
We've Come For You All - interesting composition, once again, classic John Bush chorus.

I wouldn't judge so far if this is the best Anthrax record. I dunno yet. But I can tell you I'm listening to it over and over again. And you be pretty sure I'm going to spend my money as soon as it beholds the light of European stores.

i knew i forgot some lol

refuse to be denied, great great song, being the first exposure to thrax in 5 years, when i heard it was a damn relief becasue they def hadnt lost there touch

crash-cant really make what this is about,is john talking over it or someone else???

Where is everyone getting this from - I have only the 5-6 promo tracks.

HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!
