Would you mind providing a few examples?

Well Gog/Magog, for example, were mentioned several times prior in the prophets. Ezekiel 39 is a whole chapter on the same event as Revelation 20:8-9 describes.

The book of Daniel gives a timeline. The problem today is methods of time keeping are different, and at what point did the counting start/stop.

The basic gist of all the future events predicted in the prophets involve the return of Israel (all 12 tribes) to the promised land, and permanent peace. The current state of Israel does not even come close to meeting the very specific boundaries given in Ezekiel 47. It also won't be won by human effort. Merely the cleanup is often referenced.

In Isaiah are multiple references to a highway that will stretch from Assyria (Iraq) to Egypt, and that the Nile and/or the Red Sea will be able to be walked through with dry feet.

Once all the passages are tied together, especially the redundant ones from different prophets, it paints a fairly clear picture of the expected situation.

Of course Christianity likes to ignore most of the prophecies because they don't backup church replacement theology.
