RIAA strikes again

Put me on your ignore list if my spiel bothers you. I don't plan on changing my sentiments to appease some Californian Chumbawumba like yourself.
In another countless display of virtue, I extended my hand in rc comraderie. Yet you sit there typing disparities in the comfort of your local internet cafe. Did it ever occur to you that there is more than one way of looking at the world? Obviously this notion has escaped the grasp of your mentality. Not everyone is pro-cocksucker, not everyone is in support of simians desegregated amongst the "civil", nor is everyone in support of filthy immigrants swimming streams quicker than you can sip a cup of testicular tea. I'm not here to win anyone's favor. Yet at the same time, I'm not here to create enemies. I'm a genuinely peaceful, fun loving, thoughtful human being. You kike! So continue to "call me on"whatever you wish. If you haven't seemed to notice, I'm not the one who usually starts any of these arguments. It's usually the same people who stand on street corners, with leftist propoganda, who feel the need to question other peoples right to "free thinking".
another countless display of virtue? typing disparities? i see your ineptness extends to your limited grasp of written language. and i'm just fine with differing viewpoints when they're rational and carefully weighed, but when they're as ridiculous as yours i'll choose to draw the line. it's one thing to have a disagreement about income tax and quite another to want to, in your words, repeal the 13th amendment. that's not the same ballpark, that's not even the same fucking sport. quit painting yourself as the victim, trying to drape your rhetoric with the blanket of free speech. even if i didn't find your beliefs reprehensible, you'd still be an obnoxious, self-important windbag so eat a dick, swine. you have the right to say whatever you want but that doesn't make it any less disgusting.

Muwahaha what a naive twit you are! My "repealing the 13th amendment" comment was nothing more than a sensationalizing of a much softer viewpoint. I am so vehemently against slavery, I couldn't convince you enough. I personally much rather have never seen africans set foot on this once great nation, than have them bonded to a life of servitude, freed, and then given an open contract to pollute our cities with their disgusting nature. Now when I say this I am not referring to africans americans who have properly assimilated themselves amongst the civil members of society. But you don't keep a gangrenes leg intact to spare a toe do you? Hence my outlook.

Why is this so surprising to you? Have you never come across a person who resents black culture, loathes homosexuals, and favors protecting our borders before? Surely I'm not alone.

i'm not surprised, but i'm still angered. shove your condescending attitude up your ass.

cthulufhtagn, your point of view would carry more weight if your avatar didn't look like a cutting room floor frame from a gay porn flick
...and there it is, the inevitable "i don't have a significant point to make so i'll just make fun of your name/sig/avatar" post

you're right though

Cthulu's sig sucks, it includes a quote by me related to the original subject of this post.
haha yea :p

that is a total crock though, we have had and should have the right to tape a broadcast for personal use...next thing you know clear channel's gonna slap a 14-year old with a lawsuit for making his girlfriend a mix tape

"The music labels are trying to stifle innovation, limit consumer choice and roll back consumers' rights to record content for their personal use." --XM talking some sense there

yeah, thing is. XM radio, is still radio. And its perfectly legal to shove a cassette in your car stereo and record the morning show for laughs later.... basically, they're full of shit. next they will sue the TV companies for their music channels, cause you can shove a VHS tape in your VCR and record that music. (not that anyone is dumb enough to do that)

oh, and I also heard that they've almost completed biodegradable DVDs that become unplayable after 30 days. Soon all CDs will only be purchasable for 30 days then you have to buy it again, my quote isn't far off... they just have to make it so we can't rip the CDs (watch for them to sue for that soon too)

yeah, i know that erik, but look at how the RIAA is going insane and psycho. I wouldn't put it past them to try and do this with CDs just to make more money. And its the dumbest idea ever, more of this entire "DISPOSABLE" modern attitude that is fucking everything up. Oh, it broke, buy a new one. Rather than.. oh it broke, i'll fix it myself. Sure, some shit is too complex to do so, but they build everything so shittily now-a-days.

As an example... My grandfather replaced a 40 year old toaster about 2 years ago. We've got through 4 in the last 10.

I liked that one South Park where Lars was crying because he could only afford a huge mansion instead of a SUPER huge one because of all the piracy.

Also that was when Cartman started a christian rock band with the explicit intent of selling out to get cash from people he hated, and Token was automatically good at bass because he was black. Pretty rad.

what you do not realize is that this is NOTHING but a good thing because 99% of everything that is released under the flag of the riaa is shite, and when people stop buying it (and people will stop buying it) music will be better off

I thought all stuff released in america was released under that. Good to know, and I suppose I agree if thats the case.

There are some good labels (as in, promote music for art's sake) under the RIAA, but they probably make up the 1% that Erik alluded to.

I highly doubt they are going anywhere. Illegal downloading will just shift into $0.99 downloading, killing the album in the process. Oh well, most of it is pop shite anyhow, those fucks don't know what an "album" even is.

Yeah, i'm afraid of most things corporations and/or the government do. Most, not all.

edit: yeah, don't care what they do with pop music, as long as my metal and stuff isn't affected
