Sounds of the Underground - 2008 Tour Officially Cancelled

As expected, this year's Sounds of the Underground tour has been scrapped. A source close to the event's organizers has indicated that the tour will not happen this year as a result of the previously announced SLIPKNOT / DISTURBED Summer tour, since they felt they wouldn't be able to properly compete with a tour of such "epic brutality" and that they would be fighting over the same fan base. Whether the tour will return in 2009 will be decided at a later date.
