Well, there's a difference if you are an average Joe or if you play some gay comedy dude on TV ...

A lot of middle eastern or eastern cultures do not find anything wrong with lip contact among men (as greeting). I really don't care for it, but I don't find it offensive either.

Then again, I have been regularly caught falling asleep in the front row of a gay porn cinema at 5am when one of my gay friends decided he wanted to find someone to shag for the night - so I might not be on par with what other people deem "acceptable for straight guys"
