Rick Astley Returns

Song is actually enjoyable.

and I see after all these years they couldnt come up with any better camera angles other than spinning around him..

Seriously not bad at all. He's a better singer by far than 99% of pop artists now - so why the heavy Auto Tune I wonder? It makes him sound less like himself and more like everyone else.

I was waiting for him to bust out with some djent on the Jazzmaster though...

That's the kind of watered down pop-rock song that would probably pass my ears (long-term adjusted crap-filters) totally unnoticed at work. The verse ain't that bad actually, but the chorus is total run-off-the-mill material IMHO. Even in the pop universe, there's way better stuff out right now.

Geezus, he looks like he's only aged about 10 years in that 23 years since the Never Gonna Give You Up video. I guess when you've sold that many records, you've got easy access to the fountain of youth.
Great singer too and overall very talented musician for sure. Like the others, dug the verse, but that chorus is eh really, but I suppose it ain't prog rock or avant garde either.
