My bass techer, whose home is also a shop, has been helping me refinish my Carvin bass, a nice sunburst. While we were waiting between coats of oil finish drying, we went upstairs and he let me play some of his fretlesses and a gem of a bass he'd let me play before-his Fireglo Rickenbacker 4001. Well, since my bass is in his shop, he's letting me borrow the ric for a whole week. Oh god I am blessed.
