Finally after over a decade of other musical interest, Rik has plugged in the guitar again and made a rock album. See http://www.rikemmett.com/airtime/ for information and samples.

The album is also available from Japan with a bonus track. And as happens frequently, the bonus song is better than some of the album songs.

As a helpful hint, when using the website audio player to listen to samples, first turn off the "background audio" in the upper right corner of the webpage. Otherwise you get overlapping songs.

I've always liked Rik Emmett. I think he's a great guitar player and a singer with a unique, expressive voice. There are a few Triumph songs that rank among my all-time favorites. I even have (and love) one of his solo albums.

It's good to know Rik Emmett is back!

Thanks for letting us know.

Rik has always been a tremedous talent. I've got the Airtime album, and it is very good.

Don't expect an all-out rock fest, although the album does kick in some songs, it has it's jazzy, acoustic moments as well, which you should expect.

Highly recommended!

Rock on!
