I've been tracking this one. I've got high expectations, probably too high!

I have to agree. It just looks like every other generic power metal cover. It is way to busy looking.

I'll forgive the bad artwork in exchange for an album that sounds like a modern version of Thundersteel/ Privilege of Power!

It's not terrible IMO. I've seen much worse...I've also seen better, of course. But if the album is good, who will care about the artwork?

Sure if the album lives up to the hype i can overlook the fact that the band allowed Tony Moore to come up with some of the worst cover art for possibly one of the most anticipated reunion albums in many many years. Thundersteel is framed on LP in my office, so let it not be said that this album is HIGHLY anticipated by me. Just kind of gets the whole thing rolling into the negative with such a terrible piece of "art" to represent the music.

It's pretty ugly, but in all honesty the Thundersteel cover is terrible as well. The music is what matters though, and I have high hopes for this album.

Yes, they are pretty bad. Riot are one of those bands that has never really had a 'great' album cover. 'Sons of Society' was very cool but not great.
