Only Australian opeth fans will have heard of Australian music legend Billy Thorpe but he was one of the most prolific hard rock players in the Australian scene. Awesome guitar sound which everyone from AC/DC to Slash tried to emulate. A legend of the "Pub Rock" scene here.

Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs was one of the first bands i listened to growing up. This came as a real shock. RIP

its awesome, he had a great voice, nothing like this had been heard in Australian music when it came out. the guy made the massive turnover from pop star too rock star and will be missed buy heaps in the music industry
