RIP Bozo

Growing up in Chicago, the Bozo show was on in my house everyday. I never did go to the show though. One of my friends did, and he ended up getting to play the games. RIP.

I don't believe he was our Bozo, wasn't the Chicago Bozo Bob Bell? I haven't researched it, just off the top of my noggin. Harmon was in fact the trainer of the local market Bozos, but I don't recall him doing any time in Chi-Town,
I could be completely wrong....

Always had Bozo's Circus on growing up. Actually got to go twice, and remember it being good clean fun. I did yelled at for making faces to the camera while marching out after the show. Some things NEVER change....

Wow. Yah, you are right. I actually never knew there was more than one Bozo! Joey D'Auria was Bozo for much of my childhood, but Bob Bell was the Bozo at first. I only knew Bozo through The Bozo Show.

I wonder what's going on with Cookie, Prof. Andy and Wizzo.

I also had a friend who made got to play the grand prize game for a chance to win a crisp $100 bill. The damn waiting list for tix was like 10 yrs long, no joke.

Not sure about Cookie or Professor Andy but Wizzo (Marshal Brodien) is alive and well and living quietly in a suburb of Chicago. One of my very good friends who is a Magician and owns a magic shop here in Chicago is good friends with him and speaks with him often. He has licensed a brand of magic sets under his name.
