RIP Dave Brockie AKA Oderus Urungus

Sad news as it's reported that Dave Brockie from GWAR died this morning, found by band members in his home.
Reports so far claim it's from natural causes and no one is yet to claim otherwise (except people blaming Tony Abbott).

Pretty sad news really, was never a big fan of the band, but Dave Brockie said alot of what I seemed to be thinking sometimes

I'm a pretty big fan of them, so pissed that I missed them their last two times in Oz.
Brockie was a super sharp guy who could articulate lots of things that others couldn't because he was in costume and he was allowed to get away with it.
The antics that GWAR got up to were always classic, such as his rants on Fox News (who were dumb enough to hire him to go on in character).

This makes me sadder than is sensible. I was always going to go and see them "next time".
