I recorded this for a band I play drums with. Guitars are yamaha rgx420s whit stock pickups :erk: ada-mp1 and GuitarHack's impulses and drums are DFHS and so on...

I need a hard critique for this one, because I like it, but really want it be even better. It's good for demo, but what do I need to make it to be album quality. I'm open for everything. So what does need more/less compession, reverb and such?

It sounds quite good to me. The hi-hat is a bit annoying, maybe it has too much high end. Drums and Guitars sound a bit clinical.
Maybe you could make the Bass more agressive, its hard to hear Bass guitar.
And the guitars a bit sharper I'd say.

Try panning the guitars 100/100... That would help it sound "big". Maybe a bit more mids? Didn't sound that bad IMO to begin with

I know that the song is not very interesting, but if anyone have a suggestions for guitar tone and drums...

I like the guitar tone. The kick seems a little up front, if you back down on it a little it should be easier to fit the bass in.

I would try putting some BIG reverb on the snare, toms, and just a touch on the kick. I've found that works pretty well for melodic power metal type stuff. i really like this song btw!
