RIP Joe Strummer

Just heard this morning about the passing of Joe Strummer from seminal UK Punk band The Clash. Suspected heart attack at the age of 50.

I know it's not metal related but I think many of you will own albums by this band and would like to join me in remembering this great guy.

RIP JS. London Calling was one of the earliest records I remember buying. (And yes, it was a vinyl LP)!

Unfortunately, my experience of The Clash is limited to wannabe pseudo-Communists spouting slogans and propaganda with little idea of what they're actually saying...they tend to be fans of The Clash. Ouch. Must be said, it's terrible how many musicians we've lost this year...
