What did he do after a record with Malmsteen? People die all the time, does everyone deserve this kind of attention? I can see Midnight getting attetion for the fact that he was a promising singer who put out a few great albums...I know I'll get catch hell for this but it's just my opinion...

He worked with Space Odyssey, Highbrow, Talisman, Human Clay, Thomas Vikstrom, Sha-Boom, Speedy Gonzales, Radioactive, Last Autumn's Dream, John Norum, Humanimal, Deacon Street Project, Billionaires Boy's Club, Jim Jidhed.

And btw, I'm not a fan of CG so the Midnight affair is just another death for me. See? It all depends on your perspective. Now I'm gonna get hell for this.

Or just lost it. Suicide is one of the most extreme acts a human can perform because a primal instinct in all major lifeforms is self preservation. Your mind have to be very focused and determined or very damaged to overcome it.

Or as I say an impulsive act seen as the solution to what sometimes is a situation that can be resolved... Obviously if someone is suffereing from a terminal illness there is not solution... When you hear about a guy who let's say had his girl broke up with him and they off themselves I think "what a fucking waste" and ask myself this "was the pussy that great?" The answer is probably no and if it was there are others out there...too. Permanent solution to a short term problem.

Agree, that's why I said you have to be very confused, damaged, etc., to commit suicide because the self preservation instict will prevent you from doing it specially on a short term problem IMO.

Even though I'm a survivalist kind of guy, I still can understand someone terminal (pure speculation if whatever Marcel had, was that bad) actually taking their own life. I've watched family members die of cancer, it was not pleasant, I wish they had a different alternative.

Why do you think euthanasia is such a hot topic worldwide? I'm not gonna go into the moral debate surrounding that I got my position established (the rest are welcome to do it as long as you keep emotions at bay), but it's a lot of food for thought.

But staying on topic I believe the main thing is that a human being, an artist respected and cherished by many had departed from our plane of existence.

I was born/raised Catholic, so I think I know where you are coming from, my friend. There is, no matter what you believe in, that conundrum of taking your own gift of life. I can see why people would be against it, but in my life so far, I've seen a lot of people REALLY miserable in their final days/weeks/months, which is why I tend to "support" it in certain instances. I also have distanced myself from the Catholic church for quite some time, this not being one of the reasons.... It's all good Wyv, not picking any kind of fight on this topic....

And back on topic, it appears it might have been prevented...
