Nick Menza passed away last night while playing with his band OHM.

Nick was always my favorite drummer from Megadeth and played on one of my top 5 albums.

RIP Mr. Menza.

Yet another tough death this year, and one that puts a permanent end to my hopes for a reunion of the quintessential Megadeth lineup (Mustaine, Ellifson, Friedman & Menza).

He was a great foundation for that lineup (Rust in Piece through Cryptic Writings), and his drumwork on Rust in Piece was incomparable.
