Just wondering what you guys think of this so far? I basically spent all of today writing and recording the parts. So far it's only rhythm guitars, some harmony/layering and drums. No bass, leads or vocals yet. I realize the playing is pretty sloppy, I wasn't trying to focus so much on getting everything perfect while writing. A lot of it was just playing to a metronome and jamming and then sorting out ideas I like for the arrangement.
Is this guitar tone okay?
I understand the dynamics will all change, especially with bass filling in the rhythm section's low end.
I used some new outboard gear in the signal chain. If anyone wants details I'm happy to share.
