Rise Of The Tyrant licked!!

Leeked, not licked lol, and to be honest, I'm not liking it at all, I'll still buy it when it comes out, but it doesn't sound like Arch Enemy to me, it's too old school and just plain. Doesn't inspire me what so ever.

The sound is really good, but a little bit old skoolish than andy's mix for them. But this is correct having in mind the style of the album. Anyways - Doomsday is awesomest by far :D

More improtantly, are the songs crafted in an interesting or driving manner? That's what I felt was missing from "Anthems", and I feel they only slightly got over that on Doomsday (some songs were great, others were not so great).

I like the production, especially the guitars sound very ballsy. But that watermark drives me nuts, argh.

DUDUDUDUDU! DUDUDUDUDU! DUDUDUDUDU!

But yeah, it sounds like they have found inspiration once more after Anthems & Doomsday, this is much more inspired sounding stuff :) If Johan Liiva would sing on these, the first few songs could be straight out of Burning Bridges

I don't understand this lol, maybe I was expecting a lot more, I really like Arch Enemy, they're pretty much my favourite band, but so far I can't stand this album. It just sounds so normal, if you get what I mean.

Talk about an assload of reverb, all I hear from the toms is that slapback non-lin verb instead of the actual tom hits. I think the vocal tone is better than usual, but the vocals are really boring.

yeah, the reverb on the vocals is way too much and its fucking weird, the guitars are WAY TOO LOUD, I can barely hear the fucking drums, but besides that, it sounds good. Maybe this is unmastered or something.
