Watching this great documentary on the Sundance channel called "Rising Low" about the bassist Allen Woody (Allman Bros., Gov't. Mule) and bass vibes, grooves and such.
It's a great watch if you all haven't seen it. Damn near everyone is in it whether they played on the cd or they were interviewed; Tony Levin, Bootsy Collins, John Entwistle, Flea, Jack Bruce, Les Claypool and many more! A definate must see for any bass player!
Great soundtrack, deep soulful bluesy rock. I just checked Gov't Mule's website and it looks like they'll be on tour here in the fall. This I have to see :hotjump:
