Rob Zombie has released a many production drawing from his next outing as a horror director, "31". According to DailyDead.com, the image, courtesy of Alex Horley, "depicts three figures clad in skeleton costumes, one of whom is holding a big knife in one hand. Sitting behind the three figures is presumably their ride: a 1970s-styled van with a skull-faced lightning bolt emblazoned on the side. These characters look ready for a fight, but it's unknown at this time what role they will play in the movie."Zombie stated in an interview about "31": "All I can tell you is that it's a completely original idea, it's something new. It's not based on anything. I'll start shooting the movie in the fall. So hopefully starting from October, I'll start shooting it. For right now, I'm going to keep the details secret. But it's not based on anything."In other news, Zombie and Tony Moore, co-creator of "The Walking Dead" series, have created an animated short, inspired by "Assassin's Creed Unity", to be unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con. The animation will be shown at a question-and-answer session and demo for the game on Friday, July 25 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Zombie's previous films include "House Of 1000 Corpses", "The Devil's Rejects", the 2007 remake of "Halloween" and its 2009 sequel, and "The Lords Of Salem".Zombie admitted to The Pulse Of Radio a while back that it's been tough for him to break out of the horror genre. "The movies I've made up to this point have been pretty dark and pretty much in that world because those are the opportunities that were presented," he explained. "You know, the people that put up the money for these things know that if I stick to that sort of thing, it's easily more profitable. So it's a much bigger challenge to break out of it."
