This is really sad. King Crimson is more or less responsible for progressive rock and metal as we know it and this isn't how the career of its visionary should end.

Sometimes it's statements such as his that need to be made to make more people aware of the problems abound.

If it makes your day any better, this news has been out for a couple weeks now. It's a shame, but part of Fripp's M.O. is that from time to time, he gets very, very worked up about business stuff, pitches a fit, and then eventually makes his way back to creative pursuits. Granted, at 66, he doesn't necessarily have a ton of time to get over this particular snit, so here's hoping that someone like SW can talk him out of this sooner rather than later.
