Rock Bass Samples... BEEN DONE???

I definitely would, cuz right now it's pitch-shifting clean guitar for me, so I can't imagine how this wouldn't be better!

There's Scarbee Black Bass, which has humbuckers and comes in a DI option (or reamped through a couple of different Ampeg rigs); it's only 4 stringed but has a lot of cool options, many of which are automatic without keyswitching. I personally use EWQL Hardcore Bass, but I'd love a nice DI'd sample library of 5- or 6- strings, played finger and pick style, with humbuckers. Warwick would be good, and perhaps Music Man.

Only if It would contain great vintage tones that I can't achieve on my own. I'm a bass player so i don't really need it unless there are unique tones in it. I think if the price will be to high, most people would just consider buying a cheap bass and some amp sim software.
