I just heard about this on House of Hair tonight. Festival in Oklahoma City featuring Scorpions, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Dokken, Cinderella, Warrant, Great White, Slaughter, Michael Schenker Group (w/ex Scorps drummer Herman Rarebell), Trixter, LA Guns, Firehouse, Steelheart, Bullet Boys, Lynch Mob, Pretty Boy Floyd, Lizzy Borden, Lita Ford, Enuff Znuff and many more bands.

Sounds like a kick ass festival. Just wish it was some place easier to access via airline.

Interesting. Not really my cup of tea but for anyone who likes those types of bands that seems like a dream bill. I do like Scorpions though. I thought I heard somewhere though that Twisted Sister wasn't going to tour anymore.

I think you're referring to this:

TWISTED SISTER Will Never Tour Again:

The key word being "tour" (aka go from city to city playing shows every night). Twisted Sister's business model is to play individual shows (fly-in, fly-out) and make a lot of money per show. As quoted in the article:

"I'll bet you I make more money playing 12 shows than most [other] bands make playing 50 shows."

Playing this festival fits right into that.
