Cool. I have never heard that one before!
I always thought Y&T did a radio spot for Mello Yello back in the 80s, but I asked Dave Meniketti himself when I met him and he said no.
Anybody remember who it might have been?

Hmmm....maybe Paul Sabu? He sounded an awful lot like Meniketti, and I think his career was spent doing a lot of session work, right?

I do remember Vinnie Moore did something for (I think it was) Mello Yello or Mountain Dew-- you never saw his face but only his hands and a guitar, back in the late 80's.
Priest also did a commercial for Memorex with "Rock Hard, Ride Free".

I remember this one. Played alot on syndicated radio shows back then. Forgot how cool it was.
