i need some roommics to capture the room sound, especially for drums.
i want to point them away from the drums and i don't want to have that much cymbals in them. i have 2 moveable big acoustic walls that will be between the drums and the mics and the mics stand ca. 3-4 meters away from the drums.
i don't like to use reverb for drums and i like my roomsound, so all i need is to record the room - but what mic to use.
i am really on budget and here are some of my favourites for the job, maybe some of you can tell me your experiences and have some nice suggestions for me.
and i am a dork, cause i have a problem with sdc's and everytime i want to use a ldc - please tell me that this is stupid and sdc's are as good for certain jobs
