Root Of All Evil?

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
Im a Troopin man: no time to talk.
Cannons loud and and clothing torn, Ive been kicked around
Since I was born.
And now its all right. its ok.
And you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
why I stay a troopin man.

Whether youre a brother or whether youre a mother,
Youre stayin alive, stayin alive.
Feel the formations breakin and everybody shakin,
And were stayin alive, stayin alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin alive, stayin alive.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin alive.

Well now, I get low and I get high,
And if I cant get either, I'm bound to die.
Got the wings of heaven on my boots.
Im a troopin man and I just cant lose.
You know its all right. its ok.
Ill live to see another day.
We can try to understand
why I stay a troopin man.

Funny stuff!!!!!!! :worship:rock::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: We may have to make this our official sound check song from now on! HAHA! Forget the country stuff!

Those who went to the McMurphy's Tavern show last night got a chance to listen to the EP. The "Disco Version" of "The Trooper" is not really disco. It's more of Eurobeat than anything. (Those who watch the anime Initial D know what I'm talking about.) There are gonna be some people calling it sacrilege to make a dance version of a classic metal song, but this one's not bad at all.

I got my Root Of All Evil CD this weekend... Transylvania and Evil That Men Do are excellent versions, and I really dig the acoustic Different World, but The Trooper (Dance Remix) doesn't do it for me, sorry.

Any update on the EP's availability on the TIMS store?

Unfortunately we will not be offering this through our store, it is strictly a Japanese import due to the astronomical cost of shipping them in to the U.S., the price tag would be outrageous to cover the cost for just 4 songs. Our apologies, but perhaps you can write to info@powerslave.com to see about ordering from the record company directly. I hope this helps. :saint:

Back in the days when I was an anime fan, I used to buy my import CDs at a Japanese bookstore in Little Tokyo. Sadly, that store closed down, so I resorted to CDJapan, which has reasonable prices including shipping. Last night, I visited the site and found that they have the Maidens' first two CDs available. No word on when they'll stock on the new EP.

I ordered it from the Asda website as it was the cheapest but it's not coming up for me anymore.

Here are some other places I found it tho.

(I know it says it's by Iron Maiden)

£14 for an import EP, thats like what? $28?????

Sorry girls wont be buying that.

I see what you mean about astronomical costs.

Is it possible to have MP3 downloads from this website for a fee? Convert the AIFF files to MP3 and then upload them on this site. To access the place to download them you need to pay a fee. It is the 21st century. Should be as easy as Mama's apple pie!

I just ordered my copy through CDJapan. Now I understand what Linda meant by astronomical shipping costs. The CD is Y1,219 (US$11.35) and the shipping is Y1,210 (US$11.25), which means shipping costs as much as the CD itself. Since I'm a regular customer, I have points with them. After applying 300 points (100 pts. = Y100), my total came out to Y2,129, or US$19.81.

This is a major sigh of relief for me, as I had lost two bids on it on eBay (both of which were bundled with a limited edition TIMs lighter) over the past month. Good thing I didn't win on either of them, as I saved about $10 by shopping on CDJapan instead.

As it was previously mentioned, the remix of "The Trooper" was made to test different waters - namely the club scene. When I initially heard it at the McMurphy's show, the first thing that came to mind was the Eurobeat feel of the remix. And being an anime fan for over two decades, I easily associate Eurobeat with the racing anime Initial D.

For the past week, I collaborated with an AMV (Anime Music Video) specialist to make a video using the remix and footage from Initial D. And so, with no further ado, here's one for the Maidens:
