Sorry. Not a fan of either. But can still laugh at both.

Honestly, I don't blame Khan at all. I blame Thomas Y and metal fans in general for putting too much emphasis on a metal "look".

You have to understand that Manowar came from an era win which rock star and bands did dress up, the Dolls, KISS, Alice Cooper, Thor, Zolar X, Twisted Sister, etc it was part of what was happening and what you did. None of these guys were being posers to "fit in". Something about fake tats and now topped with a wig just seems a little poser-ish to me, and Roy even pretty much admits it.
I don't really see the problem with the "fake tattoo sleeves" shirt. I am pretty sure he didn't go wearing it around off stage after the shows. this was like ANY OTHER stage attire bands wear and more importantly I imagine it was one of those "tribal" fake sleeve tat shirts which is more for show on stage. Doesn't make him a poser if it's part of a costume in my book.
The guy said Kamelot were a lot like Crimson Glory, I have still not gotten that.
Image is secondary, whether they're forcing it or not.
Because I'm a nice guy, I won't post that picture of Geoff Tate in a bathrobe and banana hammock.
