Unlike Maiden, Saxon, and others this is not an actual documentary. And it seems Lita Ford is pissed off beyond hell about it (read it in Spanish couldn't found an English source).

(and God, I can't stand Fanning , besides I would have got Katherine Moennig for Joan's role. If you ever saw "The L Word" you'll know why).

i think i'll see it. will this have a big theater release or just in the major cities?

also anyone seen the new joan jett greatest hits cd? its just horrible. 2 discs and each disc is about 40 minutes. it fits on 1 disc. the case is cheap cardboard and there are no liner notes. also some pretty well known songs joan did are missing like "little liar", "make believe" and "roadrunner"

It's a fucking double disc?! I'll have to look for it tonight when I go see Warrel Dane. I have a compilation that I made of her's that I have on the iPod I traded in the CD's never listened to them that much. Love The Runaways stuff...

yeah 2 discs and only 21 songs. like i said missing about 7 songs that are pretty well known by jett. it starts with some runaway tunes that she just rerecorded

Hmmm....soundtrack stuff? I'll sav myself the trouble and buy the re-recorded Runaways stuff from iTunes.... She's playing two shows in a casino near by in April I might have to check her out...

yeah i don't have the exact details but i think she took the runaways tunes that are in the movie and re-recorded them for this hits collection plus threw in a song or 2 that was unreleased by the runaways. here is the tracklisting:

like i said there is no booklet and joan talks about not wasting trees. well why waste space on the cd. its obvious she can fit at least 15 tracks on each disc. probably 20 tracks because her songs are short. why not have:

always liked the runaways stuff-and most of joan's and lita's stuff too.

on a different thread i said i pretty much check out all the music-related bio pics
