rush has been on the radio since the dawn of time. any classic rock station will play spirit of the radio, or freewill or closer to the heart or especially tom sawyer on a fairly regular basis.

maybe in hickville, appalachia they play a bunch of skynyrd but in the civilized world Kansas has one song that gets airplay, Tull one, and Skynyrd two (and a half, I've heard gimme back my bullets a couple times in the last like 8 years)

I don't get many good radio stations here. Although literally there is a local nu-metal alternative radio station which is one of the only stations I get. Suffice it to say I don't listen to too much radio if any at all

kansas has several in regular rotation, tull has several and so does rush. as does skynyrd. why is this even being compared?

I've heard "My God" by Jethro Tull on the radio as well as "Aqualung" and "Bungle in the Jungle." But never anything from Songs from the Wood or Heavy Horses.
