Hello Rush fans haha...

Whats everyones fave albums and songs in terms of Rush material?

I'd like to know what you think too Dan

I'd go for: Moving Pictures, Hemispheres, Vapour Trails, a farewell to kings and counterparts to limit myself to 5 hehe

Fave 5 songs I'd say:

Red Barchetta, Cygnus book 2, Circumstances, Stick it out and Earthshine :Spin:

Fav album: 2112 by far.

I think the song 2112 is one of the most amazing songs ever, and is one of the few songs I would call perfect myself.

Other fav songs: Spirit of the Radio, Cygnus Book 1(I perfer this one over 2 quite a bit actually), and Natural Science.

I never got on with Permanent Waves, i can't stand spirit of radio

I agree ! A weak album between two great ones
A very odd choice for a No.1 album but it´s cool
"Natural science" is the only stand-out track for me

I love Permanent Waves. I don't see why Moving Pictures has so much hype compared to it.

Moving Pictures and Caress Of Steel would likely be next on my list...I prefer side two of the former, possibly because of the overexposure of the other side, although that doesn't prevent me from loving YYZ and Red Barchetta.
