Sólstafir sign with Spikefarm Records. 22/04/2005
Sólstafir have signed with Spikefarm Records (a division of Spinefarm Records).
The band's debut release for the label can be expected to be released in December 2005.

:kickass: for new album

Considering "Blódi" was re-released by Oskorei Music less than half a year ago (and Til Valhallar about a year ago,) I doubt that's necessary? :p

Big news! This will finally get them the acknowledgement of all those too lazy to go digging unsigned bands, however brilliant... Hopefully the re-release of "I Blodi og Anda" fits somewhere in the deal: this album so fucking good, full of hot-blooded hymns, bursting with testosterone and technically totally depraved! The 3-tracks of last year's promoCD shows their will to turn towards weird atmospheres of a polar kind. I think Enslaved way of evolving has touched them somehow and they're up to something quite ambitious! :worship:

Me so stupid.

Just checked out their website and they don't accept credit cards, though! :erk:

what are they???

viking metal, and then they moved to progresive sounding black metal which surpasses Enslaved's last two efforts IMO.

the vocals take a while to tolerate and appreciate, but it's worth the effort.
