Where can I hear some Sorskogen? I just read an interview with Mike and it says Dan Swano was involved. Mike+Dan=Some Amazing Stuff.

It´s actually Dan Swanö´s voice in Steel. Not, as you suggested, Mikael Åkerfeldt´s.

I downloaded those samples a few years back.
Mikael always said he wanted to be in a 80's glam rock band...
White Snake and Europe are two of his all time favorite bands.
Steel sounds a bit more like AC/DC to me, though.
Does anyone remember the names that Mike and Dan made up for themselves... I think Mike was John Heart and Dan was Nick Steel... or something like that... I remember thinking at the time that it was freaking hilarious.
