This is great news, but there is one kick in the balls for me. They are playing Atlanta the same night that Nightwish is playing the Tabernacle. I had been thinking about catching Nightwish as it's billed as a special tour, with them playing songs they haven't done in years, and likely never will again. However, due to finances, I hadn't gotten around to buying the tickets yet.
On the other hand, Sabaton has become one of my favorite bands, and they haven't been to Atlanta since early 2014 when they opened for Iced Earth. They killed it at PPUSA in 2013, and they're always entertaining to see live. Plus, the band is promising a bigger production than what they're used to doing in the states in the past. Thus, I will have to forgo Nightwish, so I can catch this double-bill. Nonetheless, I'm hoping the show does well in terms of ticket sales, because I want to see this band keep coming back.
