Another one that others have pointed out before. Sacred Mother Tongue play a thrashy form of prog bliss. Very impressive guitar leads that sing and melts your face at the same time. They remind me of that great California band Souljourners. Can’t stop listening to this :Spin:. Enjoy!

Cool band. Their guitarist is one of the best up and coming shredders in England. They're quietly blowing up in Europe/UK too.

I like what I heard a lot, but the singer seems a little bit flat and not equal to the music. Cool stuff, though. I'll probably go ahead and buy a couple of tunes through Amazon and go from there.

Give him a bit more time. I think he's excellent and is definitely one of the primary selling points of the band for me.

^^^I officially kneel before Zod on this one. What a fantastic album. It's a little bit on the short side with most songs around the 3 minute range, but what a collection of riffage and shreddage going on here. The singer has clicked with me now and I'm sold big time. He is a little bit on the modern side, but it does fit the music perfectly. The guitars remind me mostly of mid 2000 era Symphorce, specifically Twice Second. I have kept this disc in my car for a week and have no desire to remove it. Riffing and melodies are top-notch. This will likely be top fivr for me this year.

One gripe, and I see this a lot lately. Where's the nice packaging and booklet? This came in a cheap-ass, bookless digi. It's the music that counts the most, but I tend to judge a release by the sum of all it's components. Great album, though. Can't stop listening...

Here's a sampling of what they have to offer. I've seen three videos from them and they were all awful so don't judge them on that, just the music. This and Votum are my favs of the year so far...

I love the video for . A light will shine ... it's the third one in the first post of this thread. I love this disc as well .. not a bad track to be found, and several that just stick in my head for days on end. Easy top 5 type disc of the year for me.

This is the last track on the album. Tell me the singer doesn't sound like Eric Rosvold from the Zero Hour s/t days. This is probably the best tune on the album as well. Just badass stuff.

Baddass. Count me in, digging it. I got to be honest I ignored the thread for a minute because of the name. I would have thought I learned my lesson with Circus Maximus.....
