Going with JD's post about an old classic. I just listened to this and I think this a classic itself! Not a bad song on it. I even dig 31 flavors. What ya all think?

What the hell happened to these guys anyway?

I saw these guys with Forbidden in 89, and they were great live. Months later, there was a picture from the show I was at in Metal Maniacs magazine, and my friend and I were at the front of the stage, so we made the pic in the mag.

Of all the covers of War Pigs, Sacred Reich's is still the best. I still say it's one of the best cover songs ever.

I think they called it quits not too long after Heal. I'm not as fond of The American Way as I am of Ignorance and Independent.

Anyone ever hear Soulfly do a cover of SR's "One Nation?" I couldn't believe that someone would cover a SR tune!!! It's awesome though. It's on the album "3".

you have to check out their other albums which are better even though American Way is excellent.. get Ignorance & Surf Nicaragua... i saw them live years ago somewhere between 1988 to 1990.. can't remember the exact year.. they opened for Pantera at the Roseland in NYC ... they were excellent and i enjoyed the show very much even though i was naseous that night from drinking too much and almost threw up on the fans when i was body surfing on the way to the stage lol ... those fans do not know how lucky they were... I hope they reunite someday because they were such a very underrated band back then...
