I was going to ask that too...hehe...so Steve, please tell us!
I know Jon Allen is playing in Dragonlord, if i am not mistaken..
and in Testament still, i guess!
I'm wondering about Jon Allen too since Testament's website has said for a long time that Jon Allen is their new drummer but still John Tempesta plays drums in First Strike Still Deadly.
Testament's website lists Jon Allen. http://www.testamentlegions.com on the homepage it has the current lineup.
Did you even read my post? The website has had Jon Allen on the line-up since summer but First Strike Still Deadly was recorded in late autumn and with John Tempesta on the drums.

my guess is that john tempesta just did the studio work but jon allen will do the touring duties and such.

From what I understand... Which Steve would of course know better is that the "First strike.." cd was a re-recording of classic Testament stuff with members from thier past.
Alex Skolnick played on it, Testament's first singer Steve Souza (Ex- Exodus) did vox on 2 songs..I think and of course Tempesta played on it .
I don't personally see it as a new album more like re-recorded memories.

Jon is the "current" drummer for Testament. J.Tempesta came in as well as A.Skolnick on "First Strinke..." because the band indeed treated that album as a side album to the progression of the studio albums and wanted to use members that had history on previous Testament albums. That's why I participated, I was on the last studio album, remember...?
Jon is also banging away with Eric in Dragonlord currently.
Darren is working with me and Chuck on our "side" project. It started out as Chuck's solo effort, but became our side band.
As well as the side project band, and Testament, and just having completed the new Vintersorg album, and whateverelse...I'm working on song ideas with Darren and Jon for the future when one day Sadus can make another album. So we consider Sadus still together, just idle.
