Am I the only one freaking to find out how this show was? I am surprised there is no talk about this. I waited MANY years for this reunion. Please someone, post some reviews, pics, videos. PLEASE!! How was it??

Go to ProgPower in September and you'll see it. :)

Thanks for the link! I wish I could come to Prog Power this year to see them, but just not sure it can happen for me.

Last time I saw Sanctuary is when they opened for Fates Warning on the No Exit tour. Amazing show!

Typing this up quickly on my cell phone. Sorry for any typos.

I was at the show last night. It was a great time. The band sounded fantastic. Warrel sounded great & hit the high notes. Very much looking forward to the show in September.

setlist was:

Eden Lies Obscured
Die For My Sins
Battle Angels
Termination Force
White Rabbit
Soldiers Of Steel
Into The Mirror
Sanctuary
Future Tense
Waiting For The Sun (The Doors cover)
Personal Jesus (Depeche Mode cover)
Long Since Dark

Encore:
Seasons Of Destruction
Taste Revenge

Thanks so much!! Awesome list. Could do without the covers but his voice fits those songs perfectly.

Hey War Ensemble was that you in the PP 2.0 shirt??? Anyhow The show was Killer!! Songs sounded fresh and heavy. All high notes were hit or at least attempted:0 Warrel was haveing fun all night with the crowd asking what songs we wanted and things like that. One guy mentioned "this is Rock and Roll baby!" and Warrel responded "No dude, its Heavy Metal! big difference"lol I can't wait to see this on the big stage in ATL! It will be Epic to say the least!

That was not me wearing a PP2.0 shirt. I was one of the 10 or so people wearing Testament merch. :)

I liked Warrel dedicating Mirror to "the guy with the mullet because mullets are retro again."

Curious to see how Die For My Sins and the other songs that required alot of high screams came out live and if Warrel is still capable of doing it.

And you know what. My other concern was that this could've been an opportunity for Loomis to ruin the songs by noodling around them all the time. I'm glad he stayed reserved and played only what was necessary! It just made his licks that much tastier!

You got it hand it to Warrel. The guy's voice has evolved so much over the years. That he can even produce a reasonable facsimile of those insane notes is a credit to his talents. Let's face it, there's like nine people on the planet who can hit those notes, and only seven of them are female.

Zod - Interesting comment. Interesting enough where I think that question is a good thread question - which male singers can hit the high notes and sound good doing it.

So, who is the other male in your opinion?
