You bet me to it. Yes, it's Dave B. from TTD. And yes, the KIT line-ups are beyond awesome... that's why they're always sold out so early.

Oh, yeah... his name is Dave Boyd.

Edit: Haha, I'm slow. But, the question is, are you awesome like me and knew it just by seeing him, or did you just look it up on the KIT website?

I'm afraid I'm slightly less awesome, it did ring when she wrote it was on KIT. Although it's pretty obvious when you see the props on stage. I wanted to go to that KIT (VIII) but the tickets were already sold out when I moved my lazy ass.

The mighty Sabbat played, but they returned for the Thrash Assault 2 a few weeks ago which was done by the same people that run KIT.

Laaz Rockit, Destructor too... was a good lineup.

But fucking christ, this year...

Jag Panzer, Manilla FUCKING road, Heathen, Cage, Attacker, Helstar, Doomsword and Crescent Shield in one show? Plus more? Fucking hell I wish I could make it out to that.

Dave's a cool guy, I know he digs early Nevermore stuff too. TTD is terribly underrated, and have been for years unfortunately- although in truth the band is probably fine with that for the most part.

I almost went to that....but now that Jag Panzer got a new guitarist....I guess i'll save my travel budget for a Megadeth gig. :p

Yup, for months and months nothing happened at all and now - kazzziiiing - show(s) and talk of a new album.

Chris Lasegue is quite a player, too! Panzer were already a great band decades before Chris B. joined and they will be certainly pretty good even without Chris. I surely wish I would have caught them with Chris B. at one time, but it's ok.
