SansAmp metal bass tone (clip inside)

Hi everyone, I bought a SansAmp and I think it sounds great, I use it with the Maxon in front used as a booster like with a guitar amp for extra gain. Please, I need you to give me your opinions about this bass sound, I think it sounds great!

Chain was:
Ibanez SR505 - Maxon OD808 - SansAmp - EMU 1616m line in - some 8x10 impulse - Waves Rbass - Wavelab multiband compressor to boost the mids.

Not bad. What kind of SansAmp is it?
And why did you use that impulse as far as SansAmp has its own cab emulation. Is this case your sound a little bit boomy for me

It's the sansamp bass driver DI, yeah it sounds probably too boomy, I added too much bass with the RBass. With the 8x10 impulse sound way better in my opinion, although the sansamp has it's own cab simulation. Thanks man!

sounds great but tbh, i'm over the Sansamp sound... IDK why... just am. I actually like the plug-in better than the real thing...hahaha (T.S.E.)

a little boomy but nice crunch overall
i have to try a screamer before the sansamp for now on >.<
