Santee show kicked ASS!!

What a great show. I tell you...you know you love The Iron Maidens, when you (Moonliteem and myself) leave The Who concert an hour into it, to make sure you don't miss any of The Maidens' setlist....and they did NOT dissapoint!

The new Adrienne Smith was really terrific. Seriously...not just saying that cause I know she'll read this...LOL. I was worried about the new member being able to nail Adrian's parts, and she was really fantastic!

Setlist....and remember...I generally suck at setlists...so this will not be 100% in order (probably not even close), and I may forget a song...but they DID play all of these...

BTW....ladies....I was with 4 other friends....and it was ALL our birthdays!

Last thing.... Aja said before one of the songs (thought it was Another Life) that we had not heard this one from them before. But checking the list...they've played all these songs. Not complaining...there were a few really nice surprises...but which song has we not heard before?

Great show ! Heather did a great job. The rest of the girls were on fire as we new they would be. Fun set list . The newbies that I brought are hooked now and will be going back for more next time. The girls are all so nice and verry easy to talk to ,that means alot to the fans!!!!!!! Thank You for a killer show !

That was during a song?? I thought it was during a break!! That's better than the drumstick fight Bruce and Nicko had during it in Glasgow I guess!! There are a few funny ones of Linda. Nice to see Sooty in attendance again!

Heather fits in perfectly from what I've seen. She looks so happy onstage and as much fun to watch as Sara when she starts headbanging! Awesome player as well I might add!!!

I was there at the Santee show last night and I agree it was awesome. I was soooooooo glad to see them FINALLY play live. Every time I tried to catch them live I either couldnt get out of work or a prior engagement or I got sick. But finally everything lined up to where I could see them live! I will definately catch them live again!

It was really awesome how Heather just fit right in with the band. She looked so comfortable that if Aja didnt mention she was a new member I think most wouldnt have known. I have to say Heather can shred some some mean licks!

Aja, hey there. It's Gregg from NY. I just want to say thanks again for taking time to talk to me after the show. My buddy Jay, was telling me how much he enjoyed the show as much as I did. I have been listening to the CD I bought last night...oh I also forgot to mention my mom likes an Iron Maiden tune....Run To The Hills! I guess hearing me listening to Metal all the time-whether it's Maiden, KISS, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Queensryche, Slayer, etc...she catches on quick to a few tunes.

I played some of the CD in the car tonight after coming back from dinner and she dug it!

Thank you to EVERYBODY who came to Santee Thursday night!! What an excellent crowd and energized room!! We were only 4 people short of a complete sell out! WOW! I hope The Who weren't miffed that you left the show early to come see us! THat is so unbelievable but heart-felt. Thank you for being there!

.....thanks to everyone for showing up and supporting the metal! This was an amazing night and an amazing crowd that came right to the front of the stage as we warmed em' all up for the ladies. Nuthin' better than to see everyone sing the songs back at you so loud you can hardly hear your own singer! I don't know when the Maidens will be back in Santee, but I hope everyone who was there on 3/1 will come out to Metal Brigade's next show @ The Second Wind (TBA) in the near future, and also go see the Maidens with our other goods friends "Just Like Priest" in April @ Canes!

BTW, if you're wondering why I'm writing @ 3:13am, its cause I just got home after I trucked all the way up to Riverside to get another taste @ Tremors!!!

I don't think you're joking so I think I should explain that it's meant to be bullet holes - if you look at the one that Bruce carries, it's exactly the same. A war torn flag that was carried through battle.
