Saracen

Well Saracen are certainly a blast from the past. Thing is which past will it be?
If they are gonna sound like their Heroes Saints and Fools debut album I cant wait . But if it's gonna be like their Change of Heart album(very eighties keyboard poppy metal) they will be best avoided.
Any one know if it's the original singer and guitarist?
Still no one can mess up a class song like Crusader can they?

Dunno whose in the current band - I've ordered their new album though and I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Speaking of blasts from the past, Angel Witch are going to be playing the Ruskin Arms on 8th July. I saw them blow away Samson at the NWOBHM 20th anniversary shows, so I'll probably try and make it along. It's a shame that Ritchie's no longer in the band, though.

Richard Lowe - Keyboards & Vocals
Jamie Little - Drums & Percussion
Steve Bettney - Vocals
Richard Bendelow - Bass & Vocals
Rob Bendelow - Guitar

I'm very impressed with the album so far. Indeed it does contain a lot of keyboards but I like the style and I think it gives it a real Prog feel.

I'll have to see if I can get hold of any of their previous stuff.

I'm looking very much forward to seeing them before Masterplan
