Sounds like I ended up at the better gig of the night on Saturday - Bar Broadway (Jerk, Kyser, Daysend, 8 Foot Sativa) instead of the SCG

I went along to see Kyser (someone said it was their last gig??) and had a few unexpected bonuses.

Daysend were playing. Bonus #1.
Then there was a kiwi band on the bill. Bonus #2.
The kiwi band were bloody great . Bonus #3.
I only paid for one of my drinks (the advantages of a birthday). Bonus #4.

...and for the record I didn't think Jerk were that bad. Not my normal cup of tea - but still quite good. Even if they hadda sucked royally the first 3 bands put on a good enough show for the cover charge
