Norwegian blackmetallers Satyricon have decided to not tour Europe this year, because the band was not satisfied with what the booking agent had set up so far. Satyricon are hoping to get out in Europe in January 2003.

This is what Satyricon states on their official website:
”We were hoping to tour the rest of Europe at the end of this year, but it has been moved to the end of January/ beginning of February. We wanted to do the tour this year, but it proved itself impossible as the booking agent in charge was not capable of setting up a proper tour that was acceptable to the band, record company and tour manager. This new tour over the new year will be a MUCH better one for the benefit of our fans, record company and Satyricon. Dates will be published as they come in.”

In other news band-member Frost walked out on an interview after the band’s gig in Trondheim while they were touring Scandinavia in October. This was a “joke” interview that Frost felt was only done to embarrass Satyricon and Frost as a person, as the interviewers were drunk students in costumes.
