Randall Simon the Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman, hit the Italian sausage with a baseball bat during the sausage race at Miller Park.

"That wasn't my intention in my heart for that to happen," he said before Thursday's Brewers-Pirates game. "I was just trying to get a tap at the costume and for her to finish the race."

I saw this on the news and almost died laughing!! It's not funny, but then again, who cares?? The girl that was in the costume is NOT pressing chrages. She just thought of it as a prank!
